Ascona...brings back some memories. I was 18 - just got my drivers license back in Serbia. One of my dad’s work colleagues had an Ascona, and she wanted it taken to a car wash. I think it looked like this, but I can’t remember how old it was
I was around when she said that - I must have told her I would help, so she tossed me the keys and told me to take the car to this particular place.
I was in love with the car - it was so much better and faster than our old Zastava. I took it to the car wash, and watched over them as they hand washed it. Then I drove it back. I drove it for maybe 5 miles tops, but I felt like I was on top of the world.
I dreamed of owning a Kadett GSi, and I had wet dreams with Calibra in them...

Dude.. that’s an Ascona A.. the coolest of them all :) Opel made that car fom 1970-1975. Gorgeous car.
